The home was built with the revolutionary new building system developed in cooperation with NedPanel BV to build affordable modern energy efficient homes. This new modular building system makes it possible to make the house virtually energy neutral in combination with the solar roof.

The modularity of the building system makes it relatively easy to extend the house should more space be desired. The living room can be extended as well as the bathroom. Should the preference be to make the house ground floor, the bedroom can be built as an extension of the bathroom. In short, almost anything is possible as long as it falls within the building standards of the system.
